About Me and my Mission

Chances are if you're reading this I probably know you personally, but if not, hello! And welcome!

I'm Dallyn Hermana Anderson, and on April 30, 2014 I will be leaving/have left for an 18 month mission trip for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will be serving in the Mexico Ciudad Obregon Mission, and I am so excited!!

While I am out there, I will study, pray, teach, learn, proselyte, walk, serve, sweat, and basically work my tail off every day!

Ciudad Obregon is a city in the most northwestern state of Mexico, Sonora. My mission is in the Sonoran Desert, the same desert as southern Arizona. If you're really curious, you can read all about it here, at my good friend, Wikipedia (yes, I use it, and I am unashamed).

This blog is the easiest way I can think of to help keep people up to date on what's going on while I'm away. The plan is for each week during my Preparation Day, or P-Day, I'll write an email about highlights of my week, the good, the bad, the ugly and the incredible, and my dad will update my blog with said email each week.

I can't promise that I'll have time to write this email every week, or that it'll be long, or that it will even be particularly interesting. Why, there may even be times where I won't have internet and won't be able to write for weeks at a time (sorry in advance), but I will write whenever I can and promise to talk about whatever I want!

I am so excited to learn and grow and above all, serve!!!
